About Film and Television UPI

Film and Television Study Program was established on April 2, 2019 based on the establishment decree SK 4093 / UN40 / HK / 2019 and Opening Decree 022 / UN40.SA / PR / 2019. The recruitment or selection system for Film and Television Study Program students is through SNMPTN, SBMPTN UM and international recruitment. The Film and Television Study Program received Good “Baik” Accreditation by BAN-PT with Decree number 11855/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/X/2021 starting from October 26, 2021 to October 26, 2026. In accordance with the mission of the FTV study program, namely to become leading and outstanding in the field of film and television with the characteristics of empowering local culture. So, the FTV study program prepares prospective filmmakers and television programs for the needs of business / industry and society by strengthening a curriculum system that is always evaluated for the needs of today’s film and television resources.

To become a Leading and outstanding study program in the development of film and television disciplines in Indonesia to strengthen local wisdom values that have global potential both in Indonesia and at the international level.

1. Organizing and developing quality film and television education that is relevant to the needs of national development.
2. Organizing and developing Leading Outstanding research in the field of film and television in the fields of theory and practice to support the professional lecture process.
3. Disseminating creative and innovative findings in the field of film and television through community service programs.
4. Develop professional networks and partnerships in the field of education and practice of the film and television industry with government agencies, the private sector, communities and society in the local, regional, national and international scope.
